What is the statutory status in Binyamina Area 9?
Plan 353-0581801 is a comprehensive outline plan of Binyamina that is currently being prepared. On 09/23/2022 the plan was published for deposit in the press and is currently in the stages of objections the plan. In this context, it should be noted that among the opponents of the plan is the Baron settlements local committee (in whose area the plan is located) and by the local council who oppose the densities proposed by the plan.

In accordance with the overall outline plan, planning complex 9 is defined as a complex for the preparation of a detailed plan in an area of 250 dunams intended for the establishment of a residential neighborhood which will include 1,480 housing units and commercial areas in the scope of 12,350 square meters.
It will be noted that the densities proposed in the plan are in dispute between the local committee of the Baron settlements and the local council of Binyamina-Givat Ada and the National Planning and Construction Committee (a committee on behalf of the National Planning and Construction Committee) which is promoting the plan. According to the local committee and the council, the density proposed in the plan is excessive and too large and will change the character of the settlement.
Update from 08/20/2023: On 08/09/2023, the planning administration received plan Tamal/1109, which is the detailed plan that will apply to Complex 9. The plan offers a new residential neighborhood in the northwest of Binyamina with a construction capacity of 1,480 housing units, 300 special housing units and 45,000 square meters for employment and 8,000 square meters for commerce. The plan corresponds to Binyamina entrusted outline plan. Due to the proximity of the neighborhood, on the western side, to the railroad planned as part of the Tel/65a plan, the plan proposes building restrictions on the western side.
On 08/16/2023, a discussion of the plan was held in Vatmal where it was decided to deposit the plan subject to a number of amendments in its instructions.

On 10/04/2024, the National Planning and Building Council decided to deposit plan TAMAL/1009, subject to the implementation of the committee appraiser’s comments and technical corrections to the consolidation and division tables attached to the plan. On 19/04/2024, the deposit of the plan was published in the press.
